This process is our favorite! We get to create something completely from scratch that captures you and your fiance!

Are you trying to decide if custom is for you? Or even worth the money? Let us tell you about it and help you make a choice between custom and pre-designed.

The custom process allows you to make every detail line up with your vision. It is the most personalized you can get with wedding invitations. You will work with the designer to get the look and feel you desire as well as make sure your story is portrayed through your design. You choose everything! In pre-designed you get a limited amount of things that you choose but included with your price are custom colors, cards, shapes, fonts, drawings, paintings, etc.

Step One

Let’s get to know each other!

First we will have you fill out our Dream Invitation Questionnaire! This will allow us to get some understanding of what you are envisioning. We also want to better understand your vision by hearing from you either by phone, email, or video call, or, if you are located in the Bradenton, Fl. area, we can meet for an in-person meeting! Here you will get rough pricing, timeline, and we will talk through your ideas more in depth.

Our average custom client spends around $1,500 for 100 invitation sets (That includes the Main Invite, Detail Card, RSVP Card, and Main Envelope.)

*To begin the design process, we require that 50% of the total fee is put down with a signed contract. The rest of the fee is due prior to production.

Step TWO

Design Creation

After we have gotten all the information from you and feel like we understand your vision, we will start the design process! This can include painting, drawing, and editing to put together your dream invitations. Once we have a draft ready, we will show it to you for approval. First drafts can take 2 to 4 weeks to create depending on what elements are included in your design.

Step THREE

Revisions

We will now collaborate with you to get your design looking exactly how you want it. Included in your custom pricing is 3 rounds of revisions. Any additional revisions will be an additional fee. This is where we reach perfection!

Step Four

Final Approval

Once you are in love with your new wedding invitations, we will send over one last proof for you to sign off on.

*This is when the second half of your fee is due.

Step Five

Production

Printing and production can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. After initial production is complete, we will assemble your invitations and make sure everything is in order for you to receive them! We offer many different assembly packages depending on what your vision and budget are. We offer digital calligraphy and printing for envelopes but not hand calligraphy.

*We do not mail out invitations to your wedding guests unless agreed upon prior and additional fee is required.

Step SIX

Wedding Day

We would love to carry your vision even further than your invitations. This could include anything from napkins and programs to signage and menus! Let us create matching designs to bring the whole day together aesthetically for you.

What is Pricing for a custom invitation set?
Visit our pricing page for information on our base pricing. Please note that this pricing is subject to change/increase based on what is ordered and the full scope of the project. This page reflects the pricing for our most basic package.
How long does the custom process take?
The Custom Invitation Process takes 7 to 9 weeks from the time you sign the contract/pay the first part of the project. We take the time to put love and care in everything we create for you and in every step of the process. Our timeline broken down looks like this:

- Mock ups/Revisions: 4 weeks (this is where all the magic happens)
- Production: 2-3 weeks
- Assembly & Shipping out: 1 -2 weeks

*Time varies by the parameters of project.
When should I send out my invitation set?
We recommend that you send your invitations to your guests 8-10 weeks in advance for local weddings and 14-16 weeks for destination weddings (outside the country). You don't want to send them out too far in advance or your guests will likely forget to RSVP and will need another reminder of the event. Alternatively, you don't want to send them out to close to the event where they won't have enough time to RSVP and you won't be able to get the guest count to other vendors like your Day of Stationer (for place cards, menu count, seating chart, etc.), Caterer, or Venue.
What types of printing do you offer?
We offer a variety of printing methods for your invitations including Digital Printing, Foil Stamping, Letterpress Printing, and Embossing. Digital Printing is included in our Base Pricing Packaging and the other types of printing are offered as upgrades. Message us for details on pricing!
